What to wear?

When planning to enroll in any course offered by CBT Bike Training Ltd, it's essential to meet our clothing requirements. Failing to do so will result in being turned away without a refund, as your safety is our top priority.

Included in the CBT course price are the following safety clothing and equipment:

  • Helmet

  • Gloves

  • Jacket

  • High-Vis Vest

  • Waterproof trousers (if needed)

If you already own any of the above-listed items, you're welcome to bring them, provided they meet the following criteria:

  1. Helmets

    You must wear a safety helmet that meets British safety standards when riding a motorcycle or moped on UK roads.

    • British Standard BS 6658:1985 and carry the BSI Kitemark

    • UNECE Regulation 22.05

    • a European Economic Area member standard offering at least the same safety and protection as BS 6658:1985, and carry a mark equivalent to the BSI Kitemark

  2. Leg wear

    At a minimum, wear thick jeans without any rips or tears.

  3. Footwear

    You should wear motorcycle boots or other sturdy boots that cover the ankles, such as hiking boots or Doc Martens. Please note that steel toe cap boots, trainers, canvas shoes, and high heels are not permitted.

  4. Gloves and Jacket

    Both must be appropriate for motorcycle riding.
